"When one thing ends, another thing begins....
Sometimes ending something hurts, but a new beginning is always worth the pain."

New beginnings is what I will call this new blog.

This is my first entry - join me on my new journey to new beginnings.

Had to share. This is how God reminds me He loves me and is with me. I wrote this in my journal this morning BEFORE reading my devotion. " i am hitting all places on my journey at once. Rocky, low, steep, finding it difficult to climb, places seem impassable, mountains too high to climb. I know others are suffering more than I but Lord this is where I am today" Opened my Jesus Calling devotional for today. This is what it was June 1

I am involved in each moment of your life. I have carefully mapped out every inch of your journey through this day, even though much of it may feel haphazard. Because the world is in a fallen condition, things always seem to be unraveling around the edges. Expect to find trouble in this day. At the same time, trust that My way is perfect, even in the midst of such messy imperfection.

Stay conscious of Me as you go through this day, remembering that I never leave your side. Let the Holy Spirit guide you step by step, protecting you from unnecessary trials and equipping you to get through whatever must be endured. As you trudge through the sludge of this fallen world, keep your mind in heavenly places with Me. Thus the Light of My Presence shines on you, giving you Peace and Joy that circumstances cannot touch.

As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him.
—Psalm 18:30

“For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”
—Isaiah 41:13

Celebrating Bazan 62nd Anniversary (Sept. 12, 2010)

Dad's request was to eat at Allen Cafe in Allen. This is one of the few places where he will eat a complete meal all by himself. He had 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 slices of bacon. I shared the same meal with mom. Jen, Greg, Celina, Dan and of course little Austin were part of the celebration.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MOM AND DAD BAZAN 63 YEARS!

TODAY IS THEIR 63rd Wedding Anniversary - what a milestone for anyone these days. I am blessed to still have mom and dad with us. Although their health has not been the best God is still faithful and still on the throne. Of those 63 years, over 55 years were served as pastors in addition to serving as District Superintendent of the Latin American District Council for 8 years. Although they do not pastor a church any longer they are still shepherding and sharing God's love with people that come into their lives. They pray for and encourage the Meals on Wheels people that deliver food, the cashiers at the store, the nurses and doctors, and the patients waiting in the doctors offices. My mother never misses an opportunity to share God's love. They were builders of churches and now they are builders of faith in the lives of those they meet.

Dad came home Friday and he was very excited. He looks better but still unstable and frail. Mom has been having some issues with walking. We should get the results of her MRI this week. Please pray that the results or her MRI will not require any kind of surgery. RIght now both of them have mobility issues.

We are trying to work on extra home health care but we are working with the constraints of Secure Horizons their HMO. Wisdom is needed in whether or not to switch them to Medicare come November. Lots to try and understand and material to read through. sigh....We have been blessed with great care so far. The home health care agency we are working with now will be coming on Monday to reevalute and see if they can work out something.

Probably more information then you all wanted to read or know but these are specific prayer requests.

Wish them a HAPPY ANNIVESARY - they would love to hear from you. I appreciate you taking the time to encourage them and bless them with your emails.
